What is the goal?
For students to read fluently, without hestitation, so they can be able to comprehend the text quicker and more deeply than ever before. They will also learn to self-evaluate their own reading, as well as their classmates' reading.

How will the students get there?
Students will read a short passage on grade level for one minute straight. They will record their reading using the Mac Air computer and calculate their words per minute score.
They will then evaluate their reading based on the following criteria:
- Accuracy: Reading the words correctly
- Rate: Reading not too fast or too slow
- Punctuation: Following most or all of the punctuation marks
-Expression: Reading with feelings and not sounding like a "robot".
